Their flight landed in Honolulu in mid-afternoon, so by the time they got their bags, hailed a cab and got to their hotel to check in, it was practically time for dinner. Fortunately, their hotel had a nice restaurant right off the lobby. Ariadne spent the meal watching Arthur closely, hoping he was feeling a little more relaxed. Ever since that projection had managed to shoot her in that dream, he'd been plagued with nightmares and had been really tense.

This trip had been his idea, and Ariadne hoped it would help. "We can go to the beach right away tomorrow, if you want," she suggested.

She may had been teasing, but that was exactly one of the reason why he loved her smile. "It always does."

"Good." Reaching for him, she pulled him down for a quick kiss. "I'd tell you all the other things I love about you, but we're in public right now."

He laughed again.

She leaned over to whisper in his ear: "Like the way you feel inside me."

He quickly smirked. “Yeah.”

She tugged affectionately on the hem of his shirt. "I'm glad I can please you."

"It's not hard to please me, trust me."

"Okay, but I'm glad I get to be the one to do it, instead of someone else. Since it's so easy," she teased.

He grinned. "No one else. Promise."

She kissed his hand. "Let's go swim."

"Sure." Arthur got up and dusted some of the sand that had stuck to his legs before offering her his hand.

They walked hand-in-hand down to the water, Ariadne tugging him towards the deeper surf. There were quite a few other people in the water, and Ariadne splashed Arthur playfully.

“Hey!” He wiped the water away from his eyes before splashing back.

She sputtered a little, laughing, then ducked underwater to grab his ankles and try to pull him under.

The move took him by surprised and he quickly lost his balance, falling back into the water.

Ariadne was at least nice enough to help him back to his feet after he lost his balance. "Sorry," she said with a little laugh. "I couldn't resist."

He spitted out the water that had gotten into his mouth and stood up with Ariadne’s help.

"You okay?" she asked, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He combed his wet hair back with his fingers.

"You're sexy when you're all wet," she teased.

"I definitely don't feel sexy."

"You are if I say you are."

He huffed out a laugh. "Alright your Highness."

She leaned in for a kiss, despite the salt water.

He kissed her back quickly.
