[A small note is left on his desk.]

Ariadne despised forced inactivity.

She was also a very demanding young woman.

At least, after a few days (and a couple of very pleasant dinner dates with Arthur) she was back in her own apartment, with all of her own things. It made everything a little easier.

She was still restless, and she realized, after about the fiftieth layout design that she was working on for no other reason than because she had nothing better to do - she hadn't been under in over a month.

Dragging one layout in particular out from a pile of others, she raised her voice.

"Hey, Arthur. I have something to show you. And I need the PASIV."

[Frowns.] When can I go home?

[Whimpers in pain, clutching gunshot wound.]

Ariadne might've been experiencing the slightest amount of trepidation as 7 o'clock approached. After all, she'd had a crush on Arthur for quite a while, and as unsure as she'd been about where they stood before, now that they were, so to speak, "officially" dating, she was worried that it would be awkward. That they wouldn't be able to find anything to talk about.

Which was absurd, of course. If Ariadne was good at anything, it was finding topics of conversation.

She didn't dress up or anything, just put on a different scarf (sky blue) and a little makeup. She knew she didn't need to impress him, but it was a date, after all. If she wanted to feel attractive, that was her business.

She showed up right on time, though she was sure that Arthur would be there early.
